A feast for the eyes
I have been meaning to blog about this gem of a find for a while now. On a fairly recent trip to Brighton I discovered this fantastic book whilst I was roaming around Snoopers Paradise. The book itself features recipes for (as the name suggests) British grub, written by Brian Murphy, design and illustration by John Astrup and Eric Hill. Published in the U.S.A in 1969, it’s full of graphically vibrant, rich and psychedelic illustrations including some unique typography, all in all adding to a very special find indeed.
